Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Surveil Reanimator and Control deck commanded by Ultimecia, Time Sorceress // Ultimecia, Omnipotent. The strategy focuses on using efficient surveil cantrips, looters, and self-mill spells to fill the graveyard with devastating high-mana threats like Archon of Cruelty and Hullbreaker Horror. Cheap reanimation spells such as Reanimate, Victimize, and Dread Return cheat these creatures onto the battlefield ahead of curve on Turn 4–5. Meanwhile, cards like Notion Thief, Disinformation Campaign, and Matoya, Archon Elder generate card advantage and restrict opponent resources. In the late game, Ultimecia's ability to transform into Ultimecia, Omnipotent grants an extra turn via Time Compression, pushing lethal combat damage over the finish line. Supported by a dense suite of countermagic and removal, the deck excels at surviving early aggression and grinding out table-wide control.
