Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is an aggressive Equipment Voltron and direct-burn strategy led by Captain America, First Avenger. The primary game plan accelerates mana on early turns, casts Captain America on Turn 3, and deploys high-impact Equipment on Turn 4. Captain America's Catch ability attaches heavy weapons like Excalibur, Sword of Eden, Kaldra Compleat, or Argentum Armor for free at the start of combat, bypassing equip costs. The deck applies dual-vector pressure: dealing massive commander combat damage while using Captain America's Throw ability to fling unattached equipment as direct damage to finish players or remove key blockers. Card velocity relies on engines like Puresteel Paladin and Sram, Senior Edificer, while defensive spells like Flawless Maneuver and Restoration Magic keep the commander safe. The deck steadily eliminates opponents one by one over three response cycles, supported by alternate threats like Danitha, Benalia's Hope.
