Deck overview

Sauron, the Dark Lord heads a Grixis midrange value deck built around the Ring tempts you. The main plan uses Sauron to amass a growing Orc Army whenever opponents cast spells, then deals combat damage with that Army to trigger the Ring and discard your hand to draw four cards. Nine copies of Nazgul plus Lord of the Nazgul act as a hidden Wraith commander, creating Wraith tokens on instant and sorcery casts and buffing them each time you are tempted. Secondary wins come from incremental combat with Terror of the Peaks, Sheoldred, and Cavern-Hoard Dragon, or from mass reanimation with Living Death and Rise of the Dark Realms after the board fills.
