Deck overview

This Mono-Green stompy deck pairs Bear tribal synergies with robust big-mana land engines under the command of Beorn the Fierce. Early turns focus on accelerating mana velocity through efficient dorks like Delighted Halfling and Fanatic of Rhonas, accompanied by low-cost utility creatures. On Turn 4, casting Beorn turns any creature into a Bear while granting trample and drawing two cards when three Bears are controlled. From Turn 5 onward, the deck converts this resource velocity into overwhelming board presence using massive force multipliers like Unnatural Growth, Kamahl, Heart of Krosa, and Earthbend land-animation effects. While the strategy relies heavily on creature combat and lacks stack countermagic, its high creature redundancy, explosive graveyard recovery through Lumra, Bellow of the Woods and Six, and resilient protection spells allow it to consistently threaten table-wide lethality by Turn 7.
