Thorin Tokenshield by user9655168

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk leads a Boros Dwarf-tribal deck that converts Dwarf enters triggers into a runaway Treasure economy. The primary plan is to resolve Thorin, then chain Dwarves, token generators, and doublers-Fili, Cadric, Roaming Throne, Mondrak-until every ETB produces multiple Treasures and Dwarf tokens. Those artifacts pump the whole team through Thorin and power combat finishers like Dain of the Ancient Halls, Akroma's Will, and Collective Inferno. A secondary value line uses Magda as a hidden commander to tutor artifacts/Dragons and feeds Treasure-based cascade with Rain of Riches and Heroes for Hire. Knuckles the Echidna offers an alternate thirty-artifact win. Thorin matters but is not strictly required; Magda and the token-doubler package carry the deck if he is answered.
