Deck overview

This Rakdos deck operates as a Demon-tribal midrange and attrition engine. It leverages dense low-cost mana rocks, ritual burst, and tribal cost reducers like Urza's Incubator and Herald's Horn to deploy heavy flying Demons ahead of curve. The deck uses Rakdos, Patron of Chaos alongside engines like Unholy Annex // Ritual Chamber and Black Market Connections to generate card advantage while forcing opponents into punishing sacrifice choices. In the midgame, asymmetric board controllers such as Archfiend of Depravity, Maha, Its Feathers Night, and Valgavoth, Terror Eater suppress opposing creature boards and lock down graveyards. Winning routes revolve around substantial flying combat damage, augmented by direct damage triggers from Terror of the Peaks and token generation from Demonic Covenant. A versatile removal package keeps decisive opposing threats in check, while reanimation spells like Reanimate and Whip of Erebos ensure rapid recovery from sweepers.
