Morcantus by Counterlover2025

Format: Commander

Commander: High Perfect Morcant

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

High Perfect Morcant is a Golgari Elfball commander who turns every Elf entering the battlefield into a -1/-1 counter on each opponent's board and turns three untapped Elves into a sorcery-speed proliferate. The deck's primary plan is to ramp with Elf druids, flood the board with Elf tokens, and finish with Finale of Devastation, Craterhoof Behemoth, or Triumph of the Hordes. Morcant's blight and proliferate also feed a slow removal engine with Blowfly Infestation and Crumbling Ashes. Lathril, Blade of the Elves acts as a hidden commander and secondary drain finisher. The deck is a resilient creature-based combo-aggro deck that can win without Morcant, but plays faster and more controlling when she stays on the battlefield.
