Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color Villain tribal midrange strategy helmed by Thanos, the Mad Titan. The game plan revolves around deploying low-cost villainous enablers early, utilizing connive triggers to sculpt hand quality, and stacking +1/+1 counters across the board via Iron Monger, Sadistic Tycoon and Baron Strucker, HYDRA Overlord. Thanos provides a potent, flexible removal engine from the command zone, capable of wiping out odd or even mana values on entry to clear opposing defenses. The deck transitions into the late game through massive combat buffs and evasion granted by The Squadron Sinister, exponential token generation from Loki, the Deceiver, and mass reanimation via Behold the Sinister Six!. Supported by a robust suite of efficient single-target removal, board wipes, and protective counterspells, the deck excels at grinding down opponents through combat attrition.
