Thorin by WytchBeech

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk fronts a Boros Dwarf/Equipment deck that wants to flood the board with Dwarves and artifact tokens. His entering trigger turns every new Dwarf into a Treasure, and his pump scales with artifact-token count. The primary line is a wide, boosted combat attack; the secondary plan is a Dragon/artifact finish through Smaug, The Misty Mountains Cold, or Hellkite Tyrant. The deck has solid card selection and several token engines for a Boros list, but it leans on Thorin and has little mass protection, so it can tumble when the commander is answered or a wipe lands. An Unexpected Party and Fili are critical non-commander accelerants.
