Deck overview

This deck is an exhibition build constructed around The Fantastic Four, where every single nonland card in the 99 has a mana value of exactly 4. This deliberate restriction guarantees that every spell cast triggers the commander's versatile four-mode ability, producing 0/4 Wall tokens, dealing 3 damage to each opponent, distributing +1/+1 counters, or drawing cards. To compensate for the absence of low-mana spells, the deck leverages alternate casting mechanics including convoke, pitch spells, evoke, and foretell. The midgame multiplies these triggers using clones such as Spark Double and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces, alongside trigger doublers like Annie Joins Up and Roaming Throne. An alternate defender subtheme led by Arcades, the Strategist and Wingmantle Chaplain converts defensive Wall tokens into flying armies and lethal attackers, providing a robust clock that finishes opponents through combined burn and combat damage.
