Deck overview

Jill, Shiva's Dominant // Shiva, Warden of Ice leads a mono-blue tempo strategy focused on evasive combat, board disruption, and incremental card advantage. The deck deploys early unblockable and utility creatures, leveraging Jill's enter-the-battlefield trigger to bounce key opposing nonland permanents before transforming her into Shiva. As a Saga creature, Shiva pushes unblockable damage on Chapters I and II while tapping all opponents' lands on Chapter III to protect sorcery-speed development before resetting into Jill. Supported by an efficient package of countermagic and bounce spells, the deck generates consistent card flow through combat triggers like Curiosity, The Destined Thief, and Tome of Legends. Without fast mana or infinite combos, the deck closes games through steady combat attrition and late-game finishers like Ultimecia, Temporal Threat or a kicked Rite of Replication.
