Deck overview

This is a Grixis theft-and-plunder deck helmed by Don Andres, the Renegade. The plan is to exile cards from opponents' libraries and graveyards, cast spells you do not own, and convert that stolen material into board presence and mana. Don Andres, the Renegade turns every creature you control but do not own into a menacing, deathtouch Pirate and refunds two tapped Treasures whenever you cast a noncreature spell you do not own. Supporting engines-Prosper, Tome-Bound, Breeches, Brazen Plunderer, Thief of Sanity, Laughing Jasper Flint, Court of Locthwain, and Passionate Archaeologist-keep the exile pipeline full. Wins come from combat with a stolen, heavily buffed board, burn from casting exiled spells under Passionate Archaeologist, and occasional bombs like Etali, Primal Storm or Lord of the Void. There are no infinite combo lines; the deck is pure midrange value and attrition.
