Bears O My! by pistolgrip12gauge

Format: Commander

Commander: Beorn the Fierce

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Beorn the Fierce is a mono-green Bears deck: cast the commander on turns 3-4, flood the board with cheap Bear creatures, and use his beginning-of-combat trigger to draw two cards once three Bears are in play. The primary plan is a wide trampling combat kill, amplified by Ayula, Goreclaw, Unnatural Growth, and the free-cost Ghalta. Secondary lines are the Shaman of Forgotten Ways life-total win and value sagas/battles (Vorinclex, Invasion of Ikoria). There is no hidden commander; the DFCs are role-players. Beorn is the engine and anthem, but the deck retains a functional beatdown plan if he is kept off the table.
