Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet Dragon tribal and combat manipulation deck commanded by Firkraag, Cunning Instigator. The strategy accelerates on turns 1 through 3 with efficient mana artifacts, deploying Firkraag on turn 4 to attack immediately with flying and haste. Attacking with Dragons goads opposing creatures, forcing opponents to attack one another while growing Firkraag and drawing cards whenever forced attackers deal combat damage. On turns 5 and 6, the deck transitions into a lethal aerial threat by casting high-impact Dragons like Terror of the Peaks, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Utvara Hellkite, or forcing a chaotic table-wide clash with Disrupt Decorum and Maximum Carnage. It also contains an infinite combo with Astral Dragon and Cursed Mirror that generates unbounded hasty Dragon tokens for an immediate table kill. The deck combines combat control, continuous card draw, and evasive flying beatdown.
