Mind thief by Yngwern

Format: Commander

Commander: Kuroki, Thief of Talents

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kuroki, Thief of Talents leads a mono-black discard-and-attrition deck. The primary plan is to strip opponents' hands with ETB rats, upkeep enchantments, and combat damage, then turn the board sideways with growing Rat or Spirit armies. Kuroki is a forced-choice finisher: opponents either let you cast their best spell for free or let Kuroki grow into a lethal commander-damage threat. Secondary paths are Pack Rat/Marrow-Gnawer token beatdown, Ink-Eyes value theft, and a Feast of Sanity plus Peer into the Abyss life-drain burst. The deck has no counterspells and cannot remove noncreatures, so it is heavily dependent on tempo and redundant discard effects.
