Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Spellslinger and Wraith Tribal strategy commanded by Lord of the Nazgûl. The game plan revolves around accelerating into the commander by Turn 4 or 5 and casting cheap instants and sorceries to rapidly generate an army of 3/3 black Wraith tokens with menace. Functional redundancy is exceptionally high due to running the maximum nine legal copies of Nazgûl, which continuously grow the entire Wraith squad whenever the Ring tempts you. Clone effects like Spark Double, Sakashima the Impostor, and Roaming Throne double both token production and counter growth. The deck leverages an elite suite of low-cost interaction and free commander spells that simultaneously protect the board and generate offensive pressure. Victory is achieved by overrunning opponents through unblockable or menace combat damage, often accelerated by Raise the Palisade, Sun Quan, Lord of Wu, or reaching the nine-Wraith 9/9 buff threshold.
