Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is an Orzhov Phyrexian aristocrats list that wins by flooding the board with Incubator tokens and toxic Mites, draining the table as they die, and closing leftover players with poison. Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos incubates X whenever you cast a Phyrexian or artifact creature and proliferates at each end step if a Phyrexian died - a strong value engine, not a requirement. The 99 already incubates (Essence of Orthodoxy, Norn's Inquisitor, Progenitor Exarch, Compleated Huntmaster), makes Mites (Skrelv's Hive, Mite Overseer), doubles tokens (Mondrak, Glory Dominus, Anointed Procession, Elspeth, Storm Slayer), and drains on death (Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, Zulaport Cutthroat, Marionette Apprentice). Elesh Norn // The Argent Etchings is a dual-purpose card: the front taxes attackers, the saga back dumps five Incubators, grants double strike, then one-sidedly wipes non-Phyrexians. Backup finishes are Nim Deathmantle sacrifice loops and an Ichor Rats proliferate clock. Brimaz is easy to recast at four mana, but the deck executes cleanly if he never resolves.
