Deck overview

This deck is a classic Selesnya token swarm strategy commanded by Rhys the Redeemed. It aims to establish early creature presence through efficient token creators like Ocelot Pride and Chittering Dispatcher, convert board presence into substantial mana using Cryptolith Rite or Circle of Dreams Druid, and exponentially scale power using Rhys's signature doubling activation, populate triggers, and myriad effects such as Legion Loyalty and Battle Angels of Tyr. Lethality peaks around Turn 6 with massive boards created by bombs like Avenger of Zendikar or Ghalta and Mavren, culminating in full-table combat eliminations by Turn 8. Defensive spells like Teferi's Protection and Dawn's Truce safeguard the wide board from sweepers, while Throne of the God-Pharaoh punishes tapped boards directly.
