Dogmeat voltron by TheGlizzyGoblin

Format: Commander

Commander: Dogmeat, Ever Loyal

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Naya Aura/Equipment Voltron deck is helmed by Dogmeat, Ever Loyal, who serves as both a graveyard-filling engine and a recurring source of card advantage. The primary plan is to cast Dogmeat early, mill Auras and Equipment into the graveyard, then recur them to suit up Dogmeat or other creatures. The deck generates a steady stream of Junk tokens through Dogmeat's attack trigger and several other cards, which provide card selection and mana. The deck wins through commander damage, often accelerated by double strike (Fireshrieker) and extra combat steps (Grim Reaper's Sprint). A robust recursion package, including Mantle of the Ancients and Vault 101: Birthday Party, ensures the deck can rebuild after board wipes. The deck is a midrange value engine that pressures opponents with a growing, evasive commander.
