Deck overview

This mono-black Aristocrats deck leverages Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER as a draw engine, drain payoff, and win condition. Early turns focus on establishing fast mana (Dark Ritual, Sol Ring, Jet Medallion) and recurring fodder (Gravecrawler, Bitterblossom, Reassembling Skeleton). Once deployed, Sephiroth converts creature deaths into card advantage and targeted life drain. The primary victory route uses a deterministic infinite loop: sacrificing Gravecrawler to Warren Soultrader generates Treasure mana while Sephiroth drains an opponent and gains life to offset the life payment. Because Warren Soultrader is a Zombie, Gravecrawler can be continuously recast from the graveyard to drain the entire table in a single turn. In grindier matchups, asymmetric attrition engines like Grave Pact and Braids, Cabal Minion dismantle opposing creature boards while Bolas's Citadel and Torment of Hailfire serve as potent alternate finishers.
