Commander: Grand Arbiter Augustin IV

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Grand Arbiter Augustin IV leads an Azorius prison deck that slows opponents with cost taxes while exploiting its own reductions to assemble the hidden win condition, Azor's Elocutors. GAAIV is the tax and discount engine; he cuts {1} from each white and blue spell and adds {1} to opponents' spells, buying time for the filibuster counter clock. The secondary route is flyer/value beatdown through Brago, Shorikai, The Wind Crystal, and token production, but it usually cannot close a table on its own. The deck uses Teferi, counterspells, and fog-style prevention to keep the Elocutors from taking damage until it reaches five counters.
