Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Sultai value-ramp deck, helmed by Glarb, Calamity's Augur, aims to generate card advantage by chaining high-mana-value spells from the top of the library. Glarb's static ability lets you play lands and cast spells with mana value 4+ from the top, while his activated ability (Surveil 2) helps set up those top-deck shots. The deck packs a dense suite of large, efficient creatures-Lumra, Bellow of the Woods, Evercoat Ursine, The Pride of Hull Clade-and supplements them with incidental drain effects from Loyal Subordinate and Rottenmouth Viper. The primary win condition is raw combat damage, accelerated by trample from Garruk's Uprising and occasional extra combat steps via Clement, the Worrywort-style flickers. There are no infinite combos; the deck relies on grinding out value and overwhelming the table with a superior board state.
