Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari Delirium Reanimator strategy commanded by Winter, Cynical Opportunist. It leverages multi-type permanents—including artifact lands, enchantment creatures, and kindred spells—to rapidly achieve Delirium by Turn 3. On Turn 4, casting Winter triggers an end-step reanimation that cheats game-dominating permanents such as Portal to Phyrexia, Archon of Cruelty, or Sheoldred, Whispering One directly into play. The deck breaks the drawback of finality counters using counter-manipulators like Hex Parasite, Ferropede, and Nesting Grounds, allowing repeated loops. While setting up, the deck applies severe asymmetric board attrition, forcing opponents to sacrifice creatures and discard resources. It finishes games through relentless combat pressure from recurring colossal threats, backed by strong land recursion engines and alternate reanimation avenues.
