Commander: Squall, SeeD Mercenary

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Squall, SeeD Mercenary is an Orzhov attrition-reanimator that treats its graveyard as a second hand. The deck uses cheap discard, dredge, and sacrifice outlets to fill the yard, then attacks with Squall alone; Rough Divide gives double strike, so each unblocked hit returns two mana value 3 or less permanents from the graveyard to the battlefield. That engine rebuys Zulaport Cutthroat, sacrifice fodder, Hopeless Nightmare, and utility lands every turn, turning recursive bodies into universal life loss, card draw, and hand disruption. The primary plan is incremental: grind away hands and boards until Squall plus drain effects close the game. There is no hidden commander; Liliana and Fang are support pieces, not alternate command lines.
