Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Izzet artifact stompy and Voltron strategy commanded by Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man. The primary game plan uses Tony's front-side ability during the early turns to dig through the library and select high-impact artifacts. Once six mana is available, Tony transforms into The Invincible Iron Man, gaining flying and haste. At the beginning of combat, he cheats massive artifacts or Equipment directly onto the battlefield, attaching Equipment for free. Dropping cards like Excalibur, Sword of Eden, Aettir and Priwen, Genji Glove, or Portal to Phyrexia turns the commander into a lethal flying threat while devastating opponent boards. The 99 includes robust artifact ramp, redundant cheat enablers like Master Transmuter and Goblin Welder, and asymmetric board control pieces like Desynchronization. Supported by free interaction like Deflecting Swat and indestructible engines like Darksteel Forge, the deck converts high-cost artifacts into rapid, game-ending combat damage.
