Deck overview

This deck centers on Super-Skrull as an activated-ability toolbox and card-advantage engine. By leveraging cost reducers such as Training Grounds, Biomancer's Familiar, Heartstone, and Zirda, the Dawnwaker, the deck minimizes the activation costs of Super-Skrull's five-color abilities. Its primary game plan uses discounted card draw to flood the hand, builds an extensive mana base utilizing Powerstone tokens and low-cost mana rocks, and closes out games via wide artifact animation spells like Cyberdrive Awakener and Rise and Shine, or by pumping Super-Skrull with combat buffs. Interaction is broad and efficient, featuring premier spot removal and hard counters to protect key setup turns. While vulnerable to mass artifact removal and lacking targeted tutors, the deck compensates with overwhelming raw card velocity and redundant payoff threats.
