Operation Gaslight by user4809534

Format: Commander

Commander: Alela, Cunning Conqueror

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Alela, Cunning Conqueror leads a flash-speed Dimir Faerie tempo deck. The primary plan is to hold up instant-speed Faeries and counterspells on opponents' turns, converting each first spell into a 1/1 Faerie token, then using goad to neutralize blockers and chip in flying damage. Secondary paths include a Notorious Throng 'fair combo' that turns a modest attack into an extra turn and a large token swarm, plus a slower planeswalker route through Kaito Shizuki and Ashiok, Nightmare Muse that grinds out card advantage. The commander is a token engine and combat deterrent; there is no hidden commander, though Obyra, Dreaming Duelist and Oona, Queen of the Fae are crucial secondary engines.
