Deck overview

This deck is a mid-power Golgari strategy focused on land acceleration, high-power creature deployment, and graveyard synergy. Led by Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, the primary game plan develops mana velocity through early ramp pieces before deploying oversized threats such as Yargle and Multani, Cultivator Colossus, and Multani, Yavimaya's Avatar. Once these behemoths hit the board, Jarad converts their massive power into direct life loss for all opponents simultaneously at instant speed. The deck supplements this burn plan with devastating combat enablers like Unnatural Growth, Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, and Triumph of the Hordes. Card advantage is maintained through power-based draw spells like Rishkar's Expertise and land-centric engines like The Gitrog Monster. While the deck possesses explosive finishing capability and strong recovery against board wipes, it lacks direct tutor density and cheap stack interaction, making it reliant on engine momentum and combat-phase execution.
