Deck overview

This Boros deck combines a tribal Dwarf core with aggressive Equipment synergies under Thorin Oakenshield. Early turns focus on establishing a low-curve board of Dwarves and Equipment to satisfy the Storied mechanic, granting the entire team passive ward {1}. Card draw engines like Sram, Senior Edificer, Puresteel Paladin, and Kíli the Resourceful keep hand sizes healthy, while equip-cost cheaters like Bruenor Battlehammer and Forge Anew enable massive tempo plays. In the mid-game, damage multipliers such as Reyav, Master Smith, Dáin Ironfoot, and Thorin, King of Durin's Folk transform modest attackers into lethal threats capable of knocking out opponents in sequential combat steps. Defensive spells like Boros Charm and Mithril Coat provide crucial resilience against sweepers, allowing the deck to close games around Turn 8 through relentless combat pressure.
