Doctor Doom by TheNightsSword

Format: Commander

Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Doctor Doom, King of Latveria heads a grixis 'Villain' typal deck built around connive and discard. The primary plan is to flood the board with Villain creatures and tokens, use Doom's combat trigger to give one a menace/connive every turn, and drain opponents whenever a land is discarded. Secondary paths use Maskwood Nexus to turn every creature into a Villain and close out with Torment of Hailfire or a wide combat swing. The hidden commander is Maskwood Nexus; it supercharges every Villain payoff. The deck is a value midrange build rather than a combo deck, with many interactive pieces to keep the board clear while Villains grow.
