Deck overview

This deck leverages Lord of the Nazgûl to turn a dense suite of cheap instants, sorceries, and cantrips into an aggressive army of 3/3 menace Wraith tokens. Fast mana acceleration like Sol Ring, Mana Vault, and Dark Ritual enables an early commander cast on Turn 3 or 4. Once the commander is active, chaining one-mana cantrips and clone effects quickly floods the battlefield with Wraiths while holding up premier free interaction such as Force of Will and Fierce Guardianship. The nine copies of Nazgûl provide functional redundancy by triggering Ring tempt abilities that grant +1/+1 counters across all Wraiths. Reaching nine Wraiths turns the entire squad into 9/9 beaters, delivering lethal unblockable combat damage on Turn 6. Supported by robust card engines like The One Ring, Archmage Emeritus, and Necropotence, the deck seamlessly blends control, card velocity, and rapid board expansion.
