Tamiyo's Terrible Thesis

Format: Commander

Commander: Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student // Tamiyo, Seasoned Scholar

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student acts as an efficient early engine, attacking to create Clues and transforming into Tamiyo, Seasoned Scholar once you draw three cards in a turn. The deck weaponizes high-velocity card draw to generate wide token boards through engines like Jolrael, Mwonvuli Recluse, Alandra, Sky Dreamer, and Minn, Wily Illusionist. Backed by a dense package of counterspells and instant-speed interaction, you control the pace while refilling your hand. You ultimately secure victory by swarming opponents with flying Drake and Spirit tokens pumped by Alandra or Jolrael, triggering Twenty-Toed Toad, or drawing through your library to win with Laboratory Maniac or Jace, Wielder of Mysteries.
