Deck overview

This mono-black deck is a symmetrical-stax sacrifice control list helmed by Braids, Cabal Minion. The core plan forces every opponent to sacrifice an artifact, creature, or land each upkeep, while the deck breaks parity by generating a steady stream of tokens via Bitterblossom, Kher Keep, and Rotlung Reanimator. A dense suite of sacrifice outlets (Viscera Seer, Ashnod's Altar, Attrition) and payoffs like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Grave Pact convert each death into life loss and further board control. The mana base leverages Cabal Coffers and Crypt Ghast for explosive black mana to power out Bolas's Citadel or Necropotence. The deck wins through incremental drain triggers or a late-game Bolas's Citadel activation; there are no infinite combos, only a grinding engine of attrition.
