Deck overview

This Orzhov deck leverages Killian, Decisive Mentor to combine aggressive Aura Voltron with forced-combat board control. By deploying low-cost enchantments and Impetus Auras, the deck repeatedly taps down opposing blockers and goads enemy threats, forcing opponents to whittle down each other's life totals while drawing extra cards whenever enchanted creatures attack. The mana curve is accelerated by cheap artifact ramp, cost-reducing creatures, and explosive mana engines like Serra's Sanctum. As the game progresses, dense draw engines such as Sram, Senior Edificer and Kor Spiritdancer fuel continuous hand refills, allowing the deck to stack massive stat boosters like All That Glitters and Super State onto an evasive attacker. Supporting protection spells, ward enablers, and mass recursion through Replenish and Retether ensure the deck can withstand board wipes and close out the game through lethal combat damage by Turn 7.
