Mizzix Storm by user5982907

Format: Commander

Commander: Mizzix of the Izmagnus

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Mizzix of the Izmagnus is an Izzet spell-slinger storm/combo list. The primary plan is to land Mizzix early with fast mana, grow experience counters through cheap instants/sorceries, then use massive cost reduction to chain draw spells, rituals, and tutors until it assembles an untap loop. The usual kill is Isochron Scepter with Dramatic Reversal and at least three artifact mana, generating infinite mana for Comet Storm or Blue Sun's Zenith. Secondary lines use Hullbreacher with Wheel/Windfall for 21 Treasure tokens, or Thassa's Oracle after drawing most of the deck. Firemind's Foresight acts as a flexible tutor, while Reiterate, Turnabout, and Underworld Breach provide backup. The deck is fast but vulnerable to artifact hate and permanent-based stax. There is no hidden commander.
