Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive mono-green token swarm strategy led by Shroofus Sproutsire. Its primary objective is to ramp on Turn 1, resolve Shroofus on Turn 2, and use cheap pump spells like Invigorate and Might of Old Krosa on Turn 3 to deal combat damage and spawn a critical mass of 1/1 Saproling tokens. Because Shroofus is itself a Saproling and triggers off any Saproling combat damage, the token army multiplies exponentially on each combat phase. On Turn 4, the expanding board pressures the table, forcing opponents to respond immediately before an overwhelming finisher—such as Overrun, Overwhelming Stampede, or Beastmaster Ascension—closes out the game on Turn 5 with lethal trample damage. The list supports its proactive game plan with dense 1–2 CMC ramp and a robust suite of low-cost protection spells like Heroic Intervention and Blossoming Defense to safeguard its fragile commander against targeted removal and board wipes.
