Deck overview

This deck executes an innovative exhibition strategy centered on Aragorn, the Uniter. While the commander requires four colors ({R}{G}{W}{U}), the entire 99-card deck is built in mono-blue. The primary game plan revolves around 'color hacking' Aragorn using text-altering spells such as Mind Bend, Sleight of Mind, Alter Reality, Glamerdye, and Swirl the Mists. By changing Aragorn's rules text from 'red', 'white', or 'green' to 'blue', every cheap blue spell cast triggers massive value: dealing 3 damage directly to opponents, creating 1/1 Human Soldier tokens, and granting +4/+4 pump buffs alongside Aragorn's innate scry 2 trigger. The deck uses phasing protection to keep Aragorn alive without losing his altered text, refuels using scry-synergy draw engines, and eliminates opponents sequentially through combined burn damage, pumped commander combat, and token swarms.
