Deck overview

This mono-green tribal stompy deck is commanded by Beorn the Fierce, blending aggressive Bear synergies with heavy mana acceleration and resilient draw engines. The early game focuses on deploying low-cost ramp pieces such as Llanowar Elves, Wild Growth, and Fanatic of Rhonas alongside efficient Bear creatures like Ayula, Queen Among Bears and Werebear. On Turn 4, casting Beorn turns any non-Bear into a Bear, distributes trample counters, and provides a continuous stream of two extra cards each turn. In the midgame, the deck capitalizes on its resource surplus by deploying massive threats including Ghalta, Primal Hunger, Apex Devastator, and The Earth King. Board-wide pump effects like Overrun push overwhelming combat damage across opposing defenses. Supported by instant-speed protection like Heroic Intervention and Wrap in Vigor, the deck consistently threatens table elimination between Turns 5 and 7 through unstoppable trample combat steps.
