Deck overview

This is a classic Mardu Vampire tribal deck helmed by Edgar Markov, leveraging his powerful eminence ability to generate a 1/1 Vampire token each time you cast another Vampire spell. The deck's primary plan is to flood the battlefield with cheap Vampires, stack lords and anthem effects, and overwhelm opponents through combat damage. Secondary win conditions include aristocrats-style drain from Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, along with life-gain payoffs like Indulging Patrician. The deck packs a modest suite of interaction and two board-level protection spells, but lacks fast combo lines, relying on incremental board advantage and value creatures to close out games.
