Kaalia, The Vast by user2983042

Format: Commander

Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Kaalia of the Vast heads an aggressive Mardu deck built to cheat massive Angels, Demons, and Dragons directly into combat, bypassing their steep mana costs. The primary plan accelerates Kaalia onto the battlefield on turn three or four with haste and protection, immediately putting game-ending threats into play tapped and attacking. The deck can eliminate an opponent instantly using Master of Cruelties, which brings the defending player to one life before Kaalia deals lethal flying combat damage. Secondary win conditions leverage devastating flying beatdown, extra combat steps via Aurelia, the Warleader, and insurmountable board locks with Avacyn, Angel of Hope and Serra's Emissary.
