Deck overview

This Edgar Markov deck is an aggressive Mardu tribal build that leverages the eminence ability to flood the battlefield with Vampire tokens at zero extra mana cost. By deploying low-cost Vampires in the first three turns, the deck amasses a wide creature presence before transitioning into lethal attacks using mass pump effects like Shared Animosity, Legion Lieutenant, and Cordial Vampire. Secondary aristocrat pieces such as Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and The Meathook Massacre ensure that opponent sweepers or defensive blocks still drain life totals toward zero. The deck prioritizes rapid board development and flexible spot removal over stax pieces or stack interaction. While it recovers reliably from board wipes thanks to the command zone eminence trigger, it remains vulnerable to sweepers due to running limited direct protection spells.
