Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov enchantress and pillowfort strategy commanded by Eriette of the Charmed Apple. The primary game plan revolves around casting inexpensive Auras onto both your own creatures and your opponents' key threats. Eriette turns these Auras into a one-sided combat lock by preventing enchanted opposing creatures from attacking you, while simultaneously draining each opponent and gaining you life on every end step. Cost reducers such as Killian, Ink Duelist and enchantress card engines like Sram, Senior Edificer and Kor Spiritdancer maintain high spell velocity. The deck amplifies its passive drain using Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Enduring Tenacity, or closes the game instantly via the infinite combo of Exquisite Blood and Vito. Defensively, Sphere of Safety and Greater Auramancy create an impenetrable fortress, though the deck remains reliant on keeping nonland permanents in play over several turn rotations to accumulate lethal drain.
