Deck overview

This is a focused Ayula, Queen Among Bears Bear tribal deck. It develops a creature board, uses Ayula, Queen Among Bears to add counters or fight opposing creatures, and turns that board into cards and mana through Beorn the Fierce, Garruk's Uprising, The Great Henge, Growing Rites of Itlimoc, and Nylea, Keen-Eyed. Land ramp is dependable, but the deck is still mostly on curve and has little stack interaction. The primary operating state is Ayula, Queen Among Bears, Beorn the Fierce, and at least two other Bears. Once Beorn the Fierce is drawing two cards each combat, the deck can build toward a turn-8 Triumph of the Hordes attack. That attack can give each opponent 10 poison, but it depends on maintaining a sufficiently large board and does not function as a protected combo. The deck is strongest when it snowballs creatures and counters, and weakest against sweepers, exile effects, and fast noncreature combo decks.
