Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Spellslinger and Aristocrats strategy commanded by Niv-Mizzet, Ghost Counsel. It combines low-mana noncreature spells, flurry triggers, and magecraft token generators to build an overwhelming board presence while draining opponent life totals. Early turns focus on establishing cheap token engines such as Sedgemoor Witch, Monastery Mentor, and Clarion Spirit alongside drain pieces like Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, Corpse Knight, and Papalymo Totolymo. The deck converts token generation into massive card velocity through Skullclamp, Plumb the Forbidden, and sacrifice draw spells. It closes games around Turn 7 via high-power finishers like Bolas's Citadel, Approach of the Second Sun, or an explosive drain burst. Supported by top-tier Orzhov spot removal, stack interaction, and silence effects, the deck maintains high resilience and operates smoothly even without casting its commander.
