Obeka by Kuroashi

Commander: Obeka, Splitter of Seconds

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Grixis "upkeep storm" deck built around Obeka, Splitter of Seconds. The plan is to make her unblockable with Aqueous Form, Whispersilk Cloak, or Brotherhood Regalia, connect in combat, and convert the damage she deals into multiple additional upkeep steps. Each of those upkeeps re-fires every "at the beginning of your upkeep" trigger in the deck: the Court monarch enchantments drain life and produce token armies, Phyrexian Arena and Thopter Spy Network bury the table in cards, and Replicating Ring plus Mechanized Production build toward an eight-artifact "same name" win. Darksteel Reactor is a second slow-fuse alt-win condition. Backup extra-upkeep engines in The Ninth Doctor, Sphinx of the Second Sun, Shadow of the Second Sun, and Paradox Haze keep the plan running even when Obeka is answered. It is a resilient midrange value deck that wins by stacking upkeep triggers, not a one-turn tutor combo.
