Deck overview

This deck is a four-color polymorph engine commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The strategy focuses on generating disposable creature tokens in the early game through low-cost enchantments and artifacts like Skrelv's Hive and Staff of the Storyteller, then using Jace's −3 ability or redundant spells like Proteus Staff and Mass Polymorph to turn those tokens into game-dominating threats. The 99 includes a dense package of high-mana payoffs including Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, Archfiend of Despair, and The Ur-Sphinx, which quickly overpower opponents through combat damage, resource attrition, and protective locks. Supported by dense 2-CMC mana acceleration, versatile single-target exile removal, and asymmetric sweepers, the deck steadily establishes control and closes out the table across turns 5 to 7.
