Format: Commander

Commander: Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER is a naya equipment-voltron commander built to chain attacks into a critical-mass combat. The deck's primary plan is to land Cloud by turn 4, equip him with a crascending and draw engine (Sword of Feast and Famine, The Reaver Cleaver, or Old Gnawbone), then use the Treasure and untap effects to finance extra combat steps. Secondary paths include a lone (desature) using Old Gnawbone or Goldspan Dragon with Aggravated Assault, plus an Angel/Helm back door. The list contains a dense tutor suite (Stoneforge, Enlightened, Steelshaper's Gift, the Cloud warrior) that digs to exactly the equipment/combine piece, while instant-speed protection (Flawless Maneuver, Deflecting Swat, Legolas's Quick Reflexes) shields Cloud or the key piece.
