Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul Vehicle aggro strategy commanded by Balthier and Fran. The commander grants passive stat buffs, vigilance, and reach to all Vehicles, while enabling an additional combat phase each turn for {1}{R}{G} whenever a Vehicle it crewed attacks. Because Vehicles with vigilance remain untapped after attacking, they double as stout blockers and dodge sorcery-speed creature sweepers during opposing turns. The deck accelerates into play with mana dorks, artifact pilots, and cost-reducers before deploying massive threats like Reaver Titan, Thunderhawk Gunship, and Old Gnawbone. Extra combat triggers compound attack triggers and combat damage rapidly. Artifact recursion from Goblin Welder, Goblin Engineer, and Daretti, Scrap Savant provides resilience against removal. While the deck boasts an incidental infinite combat combo with Aggravated Assault and Nature's Will, it primarily closes tables through relentless, multi-phase vehicular combat.
