Deck overview

This is a mono-black sacrifice-drain deck helmed by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel. The primary game plan is to generate a steady stream of creatures (via tokens, recursion, and cheap bodies) and sacrifice them for value, triggering death-payoff effects like Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, and Ayara, First of Locthwain. The deck can assemble infinite combos using Gravecrawler + Phyrexian Altar + a Zombie, or Pitiless Plunderer loops, to drain the table. Sephiroth's attack trigger draws large numbers of cards, and his transformed emblem turns every creature death into a 2-life drain, accelerating the win. The deck is resilient with multiple recursive creatures and mass reanimation, but is vulnerable to graveyard hate and lacks artifact/enchantment removal.
