Deck overview

This is a five-color Eldrazi token deck led by Azlask, the Swelling Scourge. Its normal plan is to develop lands and rocks, create Eldrazi Spawn and Eldrazi Scion, sacrifice some of them for mana and experience counters, then activate Azlask for a wide combat attack. Awakening Zone, From Beyond, Brood Monitor, Kozilek's Predator, and Emrakul's Hatcher supply bodies and mana. Cathars' Crusade, Adrix and Nev, Twincasters, Elspeth, Storm Slayer, and Skullclamp convert the token base into stronger pressure or card flow. The deck can produce powerful boards, but the commander activation needs all five colors, the main threats are expensive, and the deck has limited tutoring and protection. Its ordinary lethal route begins around turn 8 and usually needs three combats, finishing around turn 10 if opponents do not interfere. It is a synergistic casual-to-high-power midrange deck, not a cEDH construction.
